MWCI Plant Visit and DI pipes Inspection

Makati Foundry Inc., welcomed Manila Water Company's (MWCI) representative and accredited contractors to a plant tour at Muntinlupa site, last Thursday, September 22, 2005.

The Activity started with a film showing of the "Origin and Manufacturer of Ductile Iron Pipes", followed by a short discussion of the procedures/methods and other vital factors concerning DI pipes Installation. And while the talk was in progress, the speaker politely answered random question raised by participants, on various concerns that required further clarification.

An Actual demonstration of a joining operation for a - 600mm diameter DI Pipes was conducted after the discussion, affront eager and enthusiastic spectators, who were then led by event coordinators (MFI) to the plant's warehouse for a glimpse of the Plant's well-arranged product stocks.

The event ended soon after the participants have their souvenir pictures taken with MFI's hospitable hosts.
